With the Moto G9 Plus and Moto E7 Plus, Motorola is sending two new Android smartphones into the race for less than 300 euros. All details about price, dates and Co.
Motorola is refreshing its budget smartphones in the middle and entry-level class with the Moto G9 Plus and Moto E7 Plus. For the new generation, the manufacturer relies on larger batteries, larger displays and more megapixels.
Moto G9 Plus for 270 euros
The Moto G9 Plus is to be launched from the beginning of October at the non-binding retail price of 269.99 euros. In return, the buyer receives a smartphone with a 6.8-inch display that has a resolution of Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and supports HDR10. Inside is a Snapdragon 730G SoC from Qualcomm with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Android 10 is still installed, but an update to Android 11 should follow.
The mid-range smartphone uses four modules for the camera system: a wide-angle main camera with 64 MP, an 8 MP super wide-angle lens, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP.

The battery of the Moto G9 Plus is generously dimensioned with 5,000 mAh. So the smartphone should be prepared for two days of use.
Moto E7 Plus for 150 euros
That too Moto E7 Plus has a 5,000 mAh battery on board and thus promises long endurance. The entry-level smartphone is said to cost 149.99 euros (RRP) and, compared to the Moto G9 Plus, only comes with a 6.5-inch display and the weaker Snapdragon 460 SoC. There is also 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Motorola has given the Moto E7 Plus a 48 MP dual camera system. As with the Moto G9 Plus, this should deliver good photos even in poor light conditions thanks to night vision mode.
