The Galaxy S10e from 2019 is well below the 500-euro mark on offer. All information about current offers on Amazon and more.
Samsung launched its popular Galaxy S series in the tenth generation in spring 2019. In addition to the Galaxy S10 Plus and the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10e – launched with a RRP of 749 euros – is the cheapest model in a trio. With its 5.8-inch display, it is also the handiest.
During Amazon Prime Day 2019 on July 15th and 16th, Samsung lowered the price on Amazon for the white and black color options to 479 euros. Afterwards the UVP could be seen again for some time. Almost a year later, Amazon undercuts and sells the latest Prime Day price the Galaxy S10e for 469 euros.

The S10e for 469 euros on Amazon is currently top compared to the competition (status: 10:00 a.m.). In the price comparison, other shops only start at over 600 euros. Since Christmas 2019 there have been a few promotions with price tags up to 430 euros. Since February 2020, the average price trend has been pointing upwards.
The S10e may be more attractive to the target group than the simple, newer S20, which, like the S10e, virtually marks the entry into the corresponding flagship series – but priced at 650 euros. In the meantime, the Galaxy S10 Lite with more RAM appeared also priced at around 470 euros and can be an alternative for budget-oriented, but still demanding Samsung fans. In the meantime, offers on the marketplace can be cheaper. Then Amazon is no longer the direct seller who has to take care of services. For providers with Prime shipping, shipping is done via Amazon. With marketplace dealers, pay attention to a clever imprint with contact options and of course the ratings.
In the connect test, the Galaxy S10e, like the two larger models, scored “very good” – endurance, features and handling were all rated as faultless. The buyer only has to make compromises with the camera under low-light conditions – here it is only “satisfactory” for the laboratory grade. If there is enough light, the camera equipped with ultra-wide angle (16 MP) and wide angle (12 MP) does a good job – even if a telephoto lens is missing.
Here is an overview of the pros and cons from the test:
- strong feel and workmanship
- compact design
- brilliant OLED display
- strong endurance
- innovative software features
- good dual camera
- Top performance, lots of memory
- inductive power bank
- state-of-the-art connectivity with LTE Cat 20 and ax-WLAN
- Protection against water and dust
- Dual SIM or micro SD memory card slot
- Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is missing
- Image quality of the camera could be better
